Which would be best for me?? Turbo or Supercharger

Hello, I will be getting a g35 coupe, 6 speed soon, and am looking around at the mods I plan to do. I definatly want to do forced induction. I just am not sure if I should go with a single turbo or a s/c. I will be using it as a daily driver, some drifting here and there. I would like at least 350hp. I plan on having full exhaust, intake, performance ignition, etc. So, which does it sound like would be best for me, turbo or s/c? Thanks very much

I feel like that answer is pretty simple. Do you need power at low RPM or high RPM? S/C is low RPM, Turbo is high. Plus I think you will have 350 hp with those mods you mentioned minus the forced induction

No he won't. He won't get anything near that without FI.

I was figuring everything but f/I. Would get about 310-320. In my opinion the more power the better. I'm just courious of other peoples experiences.

You're not going to break 300whp with just a naturally aspirated engine and breather mods. You will have to do FI to break 300whp.

The amount of money that you'll spend to break 300whp NA would cost just as much, if not more, then what you would do if you go FI.

You'll receive mixed opinions about FI set ups from drivers on this forum, since there is a variety of those who are either supercharged or have turbo.

Majority of them that have these set ups drive their cars everyday.

Performance ignition?! Not needed on these cars...

Not a chance of hitting 300 with the mods mentioned...

Turbo has more day to day maintenance vs. the supercharger, that is something to think about. Both can be very reliable in a daily driver if installed and tuned correctly

The very most you'll hit without going FI is the mid to upper 260s RWHP after a tune being NA unless you have more engine work done, but that makes our coupes a kick in the azz to drive. FI I'd go with the Vortech super charger which will put you over 300 RWHP easily.
