Hood Clearance - Optima Red Top Battery 35 (8020-164)

Hi everyone,

I'm looking into grabbing one of these batteries but I'm wondering if I'll be running into any issues with the clearance of the hood. Does anyone have any of these installed and did you run into any problems?

I installed mine and had to use the tray that came with it to raise it up a bit.

Why would you think you may have hood clearance issues?

Yeah if anything u have to worry about the cover but it should fit..

Basically waned to make sure b/c on the Optima website it states:

Customer must know:

Height Adapter May Be Required
Check Hood Clearance
