Why would you name your thread title "opinions" but request no negative comments?

If you didn't want negative comments (which are also opinions), then your title should be, "only say nice things please."

I never said no negative comments. Just dont want people critisizing me on how it looks. Theres a difference. I dont mind you saying it doesnt look good or anything like that. Just dont go all out and say it looks like **** and stuff. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, hence the term.

A mean comment is still classified as a negative comment, since the connotation is still deliberately meant to be mean.

Regardless, black cars can pull off this look nicely. I will go out and say that a cleaner job would have been done if you removed the tails from the car and taped them up while it was off the car. Only 3 nuts and a plug holds the light assembly on in the back.

Definitely will look better once you clean it up, but for a DIY this isn't bad at all.

Thanks man. I've never painted anything in my life so obviously this could have been painted better with someone with experience. But o well. I'm looking to paint my projectors when I get it. Wanting to paint the housing black but the cylindrical shape around the projector I want to paint white. Would that look good or be out of whack. I just want something different than the G's around here.

Depends if you have any other white accents on your car. If that is the only thing that is white, then it will look out of place in my opinion.

But in the end, it is all up to you to what you want to do with your car. If you want to be out of the norm, then I say go for it. As long as you're happy with it in the end, who cares about the haters?

First time I have ever seen anyone post a thread and ask for only good comments. Ha

"Please give me comments.... as long as they say it looks good"

There are so many things wrong with both quality and execution of this project. Sad.

OP what'd you use to cover the big circles?

I might do this and use plasti-dip to see how it'd look. If I like it id use real paint.

I posted a pic earlier in the thread of what I used to cover the circles. It looks a lot better in person. I could've done a better job on the painting but hey I'm no professional :/
