Just painted my 03-05 tails. What do you guys think? I still gotta buffer it later on and add some finishing touches. Please no mean comments or flamming.

P.S. it was so hot outside !!! I hate you Houston lol

Taping job was good, but since you asked: it's way too busy. Why didn't you remove the lights from the car? I would sand that off. You're trying too hard.

Happy 4th!

Looks good ^

I wanna do the samething except add inserts in the center (like this: http://www.ourvq.com/uploads/1286223...1_151_9888.jpg)

How hard was it covering up the small led dots?

^^i used these as a starting point. And I kind cut in a circular motion to make these a little smaller. Surprisingly I cut the closest you can to a perfect circle lol. It took some time tho because of the heat. It was pretty frustrating. But end result was worth it. I already have people complimenting. It's nice (:
It would've been easier if I took the tails off and did it. But that would require a little more effort in the heat lol long story short heat made it frustrating !!!! I personally don't like the inserts on the 03-05 tails. They look better on the 06+.

Hmm, not a bad idea. I wanna do what you did but with inserts (i like em lol). And its very easy to remove the tails. What exactly did you use to paint them? Howd you cover the big circles? Any closer/good lighting pics?

I used my buddies paint. I believe it was PPG? Once I clean it all up I'll post closer pics. If you do it make sure you have some shade lol
Or get a big *** fan by you lol
