Can't remove manual transmission from engine trying to change clutch
I'm sure I got all the bolts off I went through the FSM and checked that off.
After I unbolted all the bolts to the engine and unbolted the transmission mount bracket the back portion of the transmission was lowering, however the transmission is still bound to the engine crank
I ordered a new clutch because my car would NOT stall if I placed it in any gear and let go of the clutch. The engine would remain on and NOT stall when I let off the clutch pedal and put it in any gear. I was able to change gears without pressing the clutch pedal at all.
So I figured my clutch was slipping. I ordered a new clutch and got to work. Now I am at my transmission being bound to the engine still. After work, I will see if it is just some bolt.

Sometimes the locating pins can get seized and it can be an absolute pain in the butt to separate the tranny from the engine. Just keep working at it, pry where you can. Once you get a bit of a crack between the two, spray something like PB Blaster on the locating pins to try to help them slide out.

Thank you
I'm about to throw in the towel on this clutch project and take it to a shop. I put ratchet straps on the rear "W" brace and tied that back to the bottom of the transmission with some bolts and it is still not moving at all. There has to be a bigger issue.
I removed my front brace, the one right under the engine, tried to pry at the 6 o'clock position, chipped a little piece off the upper oil pan. Close to where the 10mm bolt goes. Tried wiggling it a bunch and it still isn't coming off. I'm suspecting something along the lines of my clutch teeth not letting go of the input shaft. I don't think I want to risk breaking anything else so I'm going to put her back together.
Do you have any other suggestions before I put everything back together?

I bolted the ratchet straps to the bottom of the bell housing
Connected it to the W brace in the rear and rachet evenly.
old pressure plate
old Exedy puck
new new pressure plate installed with new puck. Not sure if you're supposed to cake it with grease like that but I did it anyway.
old and new in one pic, the flywheel is a Z1 lightweight flywheel, I didn't install it because it needed resurfacing. I reused the the Exedy lightweight flywheel. This was an Exedy kit I got off of amazon
I figured it out, it was just really stuck. It seems like my clutch had chipped splines chips so that's where I was probably hung up on. I'll post some pictures soon of how I got it "unstuck" and freed it. Never changed one before so that was fun 😵
