Nissan consult emulator?

Greetings,

Rebuilding a 03 coupe...
https://g35driver.com/forums/general...ther-noob.html

I would like to know if anyone has had experience with this..
http://www.obd-exp.com/OBD2-NISSAN-C...TOOL_p690.html.

Now I know you get what you pay for, and this isn't a 3,300.00 NISSAN Consult.

Using my laptop and a similar item for my 300ZX TT build proved priceless, since the G-35 has way more support electronics. I was wondering if this would be a good investment?

I do have a standard ODB-2 scanner, but there are consult specific Nissan-ism's that this might address.

I have Air bag issues, check engine light's, all of which I haven't addressed as of yet since the car is still at the body shop.

Thanks
Mike

That a lot of $$ to spend on error codes. I've only thrown one error code, that was after I installed my HFCs. When you get your G out of the body shop take her to our Nissan dealership and ask for Chris, he's their lead mechanic and very, very good. He'll nail down your issues in a second, tell him Gary with the twilight blue G sent you.

I use a Blazt cable and software on my 03 Skyline, which is essentially a G35. Real time data logging of sensors as well as error code reading and clearing. Have a look at their website:

Consult 3

I recently purchased the Consult 3 from WWW.Greebid.com for $649 bucks, free DHL air freight included. It arrived in 4 days and connects wirelessly by blue tooth to your laptop. It is fantastic! I also have a generic scan tool for my other cars and this C3 is the best by far for all Nissan vehicles. You plug into the OBD port and hang the module out the window, you can then move your laptop around the car while monitoring.

Yep, that's the one I bought. It will do everything except the security features unless you buy a NATS card. (I didn't have money for that yet) The Nissan Anti Theft System (NATS) and Infiniti Vehicle Immobilizer System (IVIS) require a NATS security card.
