Calamity's G35 Progression Thread
Research b4 u make the move on the E46, you will have a hard time finding one with low miles, and the maintenance costs are at a whole other level than japanese cars.
Well lucky for you i'll be parting everything out in due time
I've done a bit of research already, I wont jump on one and actually buy it unless it has around ~60k miles and is in great shape with every option added. I wont just settle for one like I did my G
But my experiences with this car have just been no good overall, every other week theres a new problem with it, small or large. I've already put too much money into it just to keep it running, aside from the other small fortune that have been put towards mods. I know that usually doesnt happen with these cars, but I guess I just got the shitty end of the luck with it. Hence the time to get rid of it. And after driving my Mom's X3 and her new loaner 2012 328xi I think I'm gonna have to go back to BMW
I know maintenance/parts are much more expensive but luckily I'll be able to find one in good shape, all small maintenance I can do myself. I'm more familiar with BMW's than any other car
Im dying to finish modding my G but in all honesty I dont have the money to finish a body kit and get the rest of the things I want. Im 19 and in college

Too bad, I like the progress on the car, and was looking forward to its transformation as the mods kept coming.

Love your G and the mods you have done, buddy! I just recently purchased a 2003 G and will be starting to mod it shortly after we close on our house. Love the bumper and rims! How does the exhaust sound? Id love to hear it. Keep up the great work and thanks for the pics!
