on a side note i do notice that my car does not always sound the same at start up, especially since its hot outside now. but once warmed up it is fine so not really same issue as you
LOL I was just looking at those test pipes the other day. I'm having an exhaust problem but it's really not serious right now. But I think I'm going with art pipes. Goodluck op

haha yup i bet if you offer him 80 he will take it cause they been on there forever. but thats prolly the cheapest route. 80 for that plus 50 for oem muffler and you should be good again

May be possible you have a hole somewhere along the piping/muffler. That could affect the overall backpressure in the system.

if you had a hole it more then likely wouldn't be muffled and instead louder like you didn't have a muffler at all

Perfect excuse to get aftermarket exhaust.

Not necessarily, depends how big a hole i guess. Usually you just hear air leaking around it, like a sputtering sound.

i had a crack in my midpipe and it sounded like a salvaged 1990 escort with no exhaust at all. so i would assume anything bigger then a crack would make the same sound if not even worse. ever heard of a electric cutout like they run on most camaros and mustangs, well let me tell ya the whole in the exhuast (electric cutout) def doesn't make them any quieter
