Intake advice
I live in Florida and my car temperature gauge shows about 105-108 F every day when I get inside it after work (mind you I get off work around 5 pm and it still shows this). Probably also does not help that I have an OB model.
I'm currently running a JWT pop charger with heat shield as my intake but am feeling heatsoak every day and it sucks. I'm strongly considering swapping it out for a Stillen intake so I did some researching on these forums. I found quite a few people that were using the plastic Stillen heat shield paired with the JWT pop charger filter.
I'm wondering if the pop charger filter is a better choice over the Stillen filter? I'll already have the pop charger filter so it would not cost me anything additional to run the Stillen shield with pop charger filter. Is there any reason why people choose the pop charger filter over the Stillen filter? Thanks!

Thanks for your input. I'm running an OEM z-tube along with my pop charger right now but I think I'll switch over to a Stillen setup. I really like the way my car sounds right now, between the pop charger, berk HFCs and HKS hi-power exhaust. I got the HFCs and exhaust done after the pop charger. Do you think I'll experience a noticeable difference in sound after swapping the pop charger for the Stillen CAI...or will it just be slightly quieter?
At this point, I think I'd be willing to sacrifice sound for performance as I feel like I'm driving with a parachute attached to the back of my car :/
