When replacing OEMs with aftermarket wheels

I was thinking of putting new 18's or 19's on my car. Do I have to make any adjustments when doing so?

I currently have the 2004 18' 7-spoke oem rims.

depends one if your going for stretched/flushed. or just a stock oem spec replacement. you might have to roll your fenders to make a wider tire fit.run low profile tires if your too flush to avoid screwing up the fender. a lot of factors play into this.

you can put 20s on it stock height with no problem. if you drop it 2 inches or so you might have to roll the rear fenders.

Also, do I have to balance them?

your wheels wil be tucked a bit with that offset but you should be able to run those specs no prob. only thing im not sure about is if youre gonna have any vdc issues if youre running those tire sizes front and back...but i'm sure someone with better knowledge will chime in

Those wheel sizes will work but I'd feel better if the fronts were 18X8's and you shouldn't run larger than 255s. Yes, they'll need to be balanced, that's cheap insurance....

Do you think those size wheels would interfere with the VDC?
