Coilovers or Wheels?! HELP!?!

I need some help on how to spend my money....

I have an IP 6MT on the factory 19s and it's slightly lowered on some Tein S Techs.

I've come across a used set of D2 Racing coilovers for about half the price new.
I want to buy some Varrstoen ES2.2.1s 19x9.5 +12 and 19x10.5 +12s.

Should I get the wheels or the coilovers?!!? HELP!!!

LoL

Wheels, also get 0 offsets.

Biggest changer of how a car looks. You are already somewhat lowered. See how it sits with the wheels and go from there.

I'd get the coils and some spacers and your OEMs will look great.

I would go with the coilovers because if its only a limited deal you should hop on it before you have to pay full price if you decide to switch over from springs, as to where the varrstoen will always be there.

Go with one of the forum commandments: drop before wheels.

my vote is for the coils as well. ^^he makes a very valid point.

Plus coils will make driving that much more fun to drive. its a cosmetic and functional upgrade!!!! Varstones would be a drop in performance over your Rays.

Are you getting a good deal on the wheels as well or are you paying full price?

ALWAYS SUSPENSION BEFORE RIMS. You have no idea what the rims will look like after the drop until your suspension is set up.

Buying used coilovers....=o(

Evidently what no one else noticed is that the coil overs are used and may not give you the ride you're expecting. You're already down on S-Techs so I'd go with the wheels. The -12 offsets sound perfect, no need for spacers and you'll smile every time you approach your G....

I guess maybe he could go with wheels and if he really thinks it needs to go lower and doesint wanna put the money in right away for coils he can compress his springs

No, Coils first ALWAYS.

Because as soon as you put the wheels on, you'll want to go lower. Fix that the first time, don't waste time!
