Quad exhaust tips on xo2
Sorry guys but i looked all around for this but it wasn't really answering my question.
so i was planning on getting an xo2 exhaust from m2 off the forum here for very long now. the question isn't the typical what exhaust should i get its a bit more complex.
i'm wondering first off whats the difference between
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Magna...Q5fAccessories
and
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MAGNA...Q5fAccessories
seems like both will fit on the xo2? looks like the second link would fit much more cleaner, easier and quicker just on the tips of the exhaust?
my question, whats the difference. will it work if i go with the second link tips? is the sound different?
and the most noobiest question of the night.... would i need to cut my bumper?
its my first time dealing with an exhaust and i just don't want to run a plain simple rusted xo2.

well on our coupes the first link will not work. There's not enough room to put that muffler straight enough to make those tips come straight out the back. My suggestion is to buy an Magnaflow X-pipe (11386) and replace the H-pipe and resonators on it. that will help the sound out than have them weld on the quad tips if it fits in the back.

trial and error. you can make the tips fit......just a matter of cutting, fitting, and welding.
+1 on the......1st link is an actual muffler so no go on that. 2nd link is tips so they should work. and nobody has really done the quad tip on the hks rep exhaust.....all ive seen was the oem tips welded on. you might be a first. enough questions, just do it lol
