Drivers side. At first i thought it was the window motor that was dead. Then the window started rolling up and down just fine.

It will basically work whenever it wants to.

Whenever it is not working, the switch will make a noise like its trying to roll up or down.

Does it sound like the window motor or window switch. Where can I find a switch.

It sounds like it may be a shortage int he switdch to me... But I'm new... what do y'all think

 

Im wondering the same question bro. Im not sure if its the switch or motor. because i install a remanufactored window motor and didnt seem to work. Not sure if if i did the reset correct or not.

When my window motor failed the window gradually starting working less and less. If it ever got stuck up or down, a slam of the door or a bang on the door panel would get it working again. When the window was stuck the switch would still make the clicking noise but nothing would happen.

@jon121587: When I hooked my remanufactured window up the window itself worked fine if I didn't use auto-up or down, and after I reset it they worked. I believe the reset is only for the auto-up and down function.

 

Give direct power to the motor and see if it works.
