Question no heat...PLEASE help

MY car does not blow hot when the car is stopped...only when it is moving..no matter how high I have the temperature set. Has anyone else had this problem or might have an idea as to why this is happening? Thanks.

Yea I had that problem. You probably got air pockets and the radiator needs to be bleed in order to get it out. You should be okay after that.

do you have the climate set on automatic? When I first start my car up in the morning and have it set to automatic it doesnt warm the car up until I move but when I have it on manual it heats up when I start up.

This happend to me right after I had my radiator replaced also. It has to do with having air the lines and it needs to be bleed, thats all. After that you should be warm and toasty!

theres was just a pretty long thread on this like yesterday arg. #1 its air in your system. either bring it to a dealer have them do it or buy the funnel attachment in the other thread, and do it your self. 2 if its on auto air when u 1st start your car it knows the coolant isnt hot enough to blow hot air so it does not blow untill it warms.. aka when u start moving if u let the car warm up properly b4 you drive it will work. but thats not your problem.

https://g35driver.com/forums/engine-...ng-system.html this is how to bleed your cooling system if you bought it yesterday you should bring it back and complain that is if you got it from a dealer

funnel thingy, all u need to do is run the engine have the fan on full heat , and i always hold the rpm at 2k and you should start seeing bubbles coming out.if you have rhino ramps or w.e they are called it helps if the front is high than the rear but not required. i always give it a few rev up..not high jus from idle to 2k and back. since flow to the heater core is hampered when theres air inthe system. You can try leaving the radiator cap open while idleling and let the bubbles out. Also there's a little bleeder somewhere on the bottom of hoses (forgot exactly where), you can try that as well until no more bubbles coming out.

Could be bad heated core, my friend's S4 got corroded heated core and gave him no heat either.
