Few questions before I change my clutch fluid

Hey guys,

Just wondering which fluid i should replace it with exactly? Curious what others have used and what they were happy with. Just assuming any old DOT3 brake fluid will work?

I plan on following this DIY thread here:

Motul if you can get it or prestone dot 4 locally. Stick with Dot 4 since it has higher boiling point and your fluid will last longer. The clutch pedal has a tendency to stick when fluid is old and moisture in in the fluid.

Got it. I'll see what I can find locally. I'll probably just stick with DOT3 since that's what was already in there, and what is recommended by the manufacturer. I mean, is there any evidence that DOT4 is really better in our cars? I'm going to flush the system, but isn't it possible that there would be left over DOT3 and it would mix with the DOT4? Don't know if that makes a difference or not....

Enlighten me please
