Yes he was a douche as wtfjim said. ^ and Im sorry to hear about that but that is for sure a douche move. I got pulled over in my neighborhood less then a mile away from my house, and he had my car TOWED which cost me $121. Why couldn't he let me leave it where it was, it was in a neighborhood with tons of houses around. I was gone a total of an hour at the dmv getting my registration. I even asked if I could knock on someones door and put it in their driveway for an hour if they agree and he was like nope that is part of the consequence. So I didn't even bother asking if I could drive it to my house.

That officer was a douche. He didn't even give me the actual ticked I deserved the first time he pulled me over. He gave me noise pollution when I was cruising down the road at 12 over the speed limit. btw, I was 16 at that time driving a camaro z28 with about 350hp. The officer that was harassing me had also been doing the same to other teenagers in middle valley. But yeah, cops can be douches. Writing a ticket for insurance without even asking about it before hand is being a douche.
Your situation is different. You weren't driving with the wrong tags, you were legitimately getting harassed. The OP had the wrong tags and no front plate. He got pulled over legitimately. Of course we're only reading one side. For all we know he was being a jackass to the cop, hence the cop towing him so close to home. Either way he was in violation of the law and got caught. You on the other hand were getting f'd with for being young in a nicer car.

Well dude u broke the law. U knew it was wrong but did it anyways. If he woulda let u drive away n u got pulled again in that mile or got in a accident he would be at fault also and loose his job. I imagine you didnt have insurance on the car also. See where this is going? Your to blame not him let it go and move on with life.

But back to point if you get if corrected it will be dropped. Most lilely with no fines

I'm not here to bust your ***** but what part of putting tags for another car on your car and driving around sounds like a good idea?
First thing that comes to mind is that the car is stolen, or the tags are. Of course an officer would be on alert. Sucks that you have to pay for all that stuff, but hopefully you learned a lesson, because you did kind of ask for it.

I HAD INSURANCE- read the post. I know I deserved the tickets-that I am fine with. I didn't deserve to get towed. I was very respectful, the first thing he told me after he knew the car wasn't registered is"you are getting some tickets and you are getting towed" there was no reason for me to get towed..

Look I imagine your young with your way of thinking as you didn't deserve to get towed and why not oh just because you broke the law but were respectful. But fact is you engaged into a illegal move did so willingly statute states the car should be towed, sure its under officers descrission but plain and simple illegal. No need in whining pay your fees and walk away with a leasing learned. Good read here I love it.

^Its hard to rally the troops when you have blatantly broken the law, get punished for it, and than have the audacity to complain that the cop was a douche.

I can see both sides of this. Sure you broke the law knowingly but so does everyone who gets caught speeding and then they ask about ways to get out of paying the fines or getting it reduced. Or what's the best radar detector to buy. Well, why do you wanna know? So you can knowingly break the law and exceed the posted speed limit? I don't see anyone responding with answers like "Why? So you can knowingly break the law without getting caught?"

Or I blew my engine because of mods I've done. Should I return it to stock before I bring it to the dealership to try and rip them off so I don't have to pay for my own mistake? Umm, no. You should pay for your own engine.

I'm just saying, people can be hypocritical. And if you don't agree with my statement, I'm not referring to you.

So, OP, I'm gonna let you off with a warning this time lol.
