window issues...?????

i have an 03 coupe and Im having issues with the window...im suspecting its the window motor, but wanted to ask first...the window on my car makes weird sounds and is stuck all the way down now...i have to bang on the door at the same time holding the switch...has anyone had this problem and what did you replace...I know there is a lot of threads on the site, but cant find one with my exact problem...please help

The dreaded window motor problem lol u could have searched but yea just get a new motor or do what I did I dont recomend it but I just slammed my door a bunch of times n never had a problem with my window again I just got lucky u prob will have to get a new one

It's your window motor. They go out left and right in our cars. If you get it done at the dealership it comes with a 1 one year parts and labor warranty. Otherwise no warranty.

Never worked on this car yet, r the motors easy to replace..??

I just had this problem and thought I needed a new motor BUT it really just needed to be cleaned. If you search Window Motor you will see a DIY!! Mine was so nasty that the bushings were not even making contact. I did this tonight and mine is working like new!!
