Hole in front bumper

I used the search option but I couldn't find any topic on this. I bought my G yesterday and I removed the front license plate because I live in GA and thankfully I don't need a front plate. well i removed the plate and there this huge hole in the front bumper. My father owns a g35 sedan and he doesn't have one in his. Is there a panel that's suppose to go over this or something? i'm really confused as to why it's there. here are the pics. anyone?

i'm going to contact the dealership tomorrow about the bumper but i thought i'd ask you guys first. thank you so much for your help.

That's where the factory tow hook screws in. Unfortunately, as I recall, the little cover plates are really expensive, or they only come with a new bumper, but I can't remember which.

Also, sucks about the screw holes...

painted from the dealer will cost waaaaay too much.
So I ordered spray paint/clearcoat from here.

No one will argue with that....^....! That's the issue we have with our SEARCH if you don't use the correct terminology you won't find the answer. Had you known it was called a toe cover you would have found multiple answers.
