Hey, I'm interested in getting this intake and i could not find any reviews on it online. I was curious if anyone had it, and what they thought about it. The only reason I am interested in this intake is because i can convert it into a short ram or just keep it as CAI, depending on what season it is, since it floods often in NY/NJ. I was wondering how the fitment was. The sound? or anything else you could think of.Thanks.

I have it on mine and I love it. It's LOUD. "WAAAAAAAAA" From all the air it sucks in. Fits great. except for when you get caught with the CAI in the rain because the filter isn't too far from the ground.

+1 about the rain. My K&N is the same way but I have never had a problem with mine and I DD my car!

Also OP as for your question, if you read you will find the results are that no intake will really produce gains, so your best bet is a z-tube with a rev-up box.

There are no HP increases where intakes are concerned with our VQ engines. The only thing you get without a few other mods is the sound. With the Injen intake you'll lose HP because it's metal and suffers from heat soak increasing the air temp entering your motor....not good! The best way to go is with the Z-Tube and K&N drop in filter or if you have the $$ go with Stillens CAI/Z-Tube combo that has the giant K&N filter and isn't bothered by heat....so many options and Injen isn't a smart one!

Heat soak only occurs when stationary, i have a similar long metal intake with the filter just above the front opening, and i have logged my intake temps at an average of 2-3c above ambient temp, so IMO thats very good.
