06 high beam projectors??

I got an 04 coupe i was gonna do a set of 4300k hids in the fogs/highbeams but after doing some searching i see thats a bad idea due to the reflective housing. Are the 06-07 headlight highbeams also in reflective housings. If so whats my best option i want to change my fogs/highbeam to hid's. Oh and please dont mention putting in a set of white halogen bulbs not an option. Thx

Projector headlights have the top projector handle both the Hi and Lo beams. You need a D2S bulb for that, i believe. As for putting HID's in your Foglight/DRL, just purchase an HID conversion kit, and hook the bitch up. I just did this a couple days ago, and good lord, do NOT drive with them on... They areLITERALLY blinding. Use it for show or when there is no other cars around only.

I didn't make my fogs projectors, but I did get a 3000k HID kit from these guys and like said above, it is VERY bright, I would not recommend using them in anything but fog or parking lots lol.

They do look pretty badass though

Just save yourself the grief and buy some 06+ headlights. If you don't have the cash now, save. You will be grateful afterwords.

i have the 06 lights and the top projector handles low and high beam theres a little flap that lifts when u turn on high beam to expose more of the light. also for the flog lights just look on ebay for one of the better brands of hid conversion kits i believe he 06-07 is H1. looks very good and is super bright but as long as their aimed right it shouldn't be a problem i havent had one

Legally all healights are required to have somekind of adjustment and a foglight is actually meant to point down so if ur lights are pointing up and blinding peopke then there's something wrong with them maybe a cheap bulb and the fillament isn't where it should be

Nah; The fog housing just wasn't meant for HID's. Or you can teach me how to aim that ****, 'cause I went in there the day after I installed it and couldn't come up with anything.

soooo once again all headlights are legally required to have some kind of adjustment because not all cars are exactly the same and stuff needs to be aligned so i got a picture of my 06 projector headlight while it is out to show people how to adjust it.

http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_...030_medium.jpg

thats the back of the drivers side headlight. the silver round washer on the right midway up the light is the adjustment for the projector and the lower one on the right is for the fog light. when the headlight is installed you will have to reach through holes in the shroud with a socket to get to the adjusters. that light in the picture has hid fog lights btw and their aimed perfect

Pretty much love you right now. I love the "wtf" face they give the people I've shown the way they are right now, but this is going to be fantastic being able to have them on without killing anyone. Only problem is I absolutely HATE getting the headlight out just to mess with it, and going in by prying open the fenderwell is a mad bitch .___.

The HID bulb slid into the foglight slot, but it was a tight squeeze and I'm pretty sure I scraped the **** out of it >___> I could've drilled a hole through the cap (you pretty much need to) but i just took pliers and cut a section off of it.

done do it like that if you have the car jacked up when ur adjusting them it defeats the purpose. the passenger one is easy to get at and the passenger one is also easier if u pop the airbox out. if u have any kind of an intake then you can get to it easy.
