Wait, so the 06 projectors DONT light up their clearance strips?

WHAT? What's the purpose then? Agh. Is there a DIY? I NEED these to be lit up. Maybe run a LED strip behind them? I modded my 03's when I had them to be LEDs so I understand generally how to do it, though I always had a problem with getting the strip to stay attached, in the summer the glue always melted.

Ideas? Advice? Thanks.

nope. you could get some modded ones from ledmarkers.com i've dealt with him and he's got top notch service and product.

or you could get clearcorners.com headlights. they are hellaciously expensive tho...but damn are they pretty.

It'd look good if the color was solid and same brightness throughout the strip, instead it fades dully and looks like crap no matter what color/how many LED bulbs you put in there unless you put an actual led strip.

that crookedness is just in the pic. they are straight as an arrow.

enig: you should get in touch with LEDmarkers.com and if you wouldn't mind, tell him Jake (the housing transplant guy) sent you. as for what I did.......i bought some clearcorners.com headlights. but i'm sure Chris will get you pretty damn close....at about half the price.

Never really been a fan but that is hot. BTW what is the point of all the light being the same if your just going to run an amber sidemarker...FTL. If it were clear and 6000K like the rest it would look much better!
