Wait, your car just arrived but NOW you're going to go bargain? Usually you should negotiate before you order the car....just my $0.02

 

I put $500 deposit which is refundable if i dont want the car. So i can bargain when it arrives also.

 

OK, but to be honest, I wouldn't bother going down there unless you're prepared to pay full price. I would negotiate over the phone first and be prepared to walk away and get your money back if you can't get the price you want. Otherwise, if you set foot in the dealership and they know you want it, you're hosed. Good luck and enjoy it!

 

Our local dealer told me that the '05's are going for sticker. Then I pulled out the VPP discount - after running the numbers he said we can get one for $34K driveout, 5AT fully loaded except for navi.

 

i guess you can haggle the price when you put in the order/deposit or when the car arrives. however, i would think that it may be harder to bargain now since the dealer knows you've been waiting all these months and must be eager to have the car. just remember to play hardball and don't hesitate to walk away if the price isn't right.

 

Hey Gdawg......what options did you get and how much was the discount. This way it will give me an idea of what i can slash. I have seen on some threads that its between $1200-1500.

Hi, garfield! I just picked my IP/Stone 05 G35c Sports/Prem/Nav/Aero. I got it 800 over Invoice the price Before taxes/fees was 37,113 exact (MSRP on that car was 39,890). Walkout price was $39,410. Hope that Helps!

 

Curious too as to what some people are paying for their 05's.

Hi how are you guys doing. I registered onto this forum to get some feedback and opinions on the pricing of your g35 coupe. On Oct. 8th i purchased a 2004 Acura TL 5AT non-navi for $30,250.00 I have been somewhat pleased with the car due to its technology, but I am 18 years old and want a sports coupe like the g35. I hav 1,600 miles on my TL right now and want to trade in my TL for a leftover 2004 g35 coupe from either Kings Infiniti or Ray Catena (closest dealers). I talked to a representative and they said the can give me $26,000 for my car. I don't want to spend more than $3K on the car (not including taxes). I would just like to know your opinions on what kind of price i can get. Do you think i can get it for $29,000 or less I will be going to the dealership today so I hope i can get some feedback by then. Thanks for your time. Hopefully a future G35 coupe driver

 

Good move....sorry you didn't get the G in the first place. I was on the freeway the other day and there was a TL on my left, a TL on my right, and a TL behind me! Ridiculous! Good luck....

 

Im going to the dealership now hopefully they hav some leftover coupes that is around $29,000.00 Ill post my results after i come back from the dealership.
