Battery that makes your G run better?

Just had to replace my battery because it was done. I noticed that my old one that dealer must of put in was a Duralast 500 cca. The Everlast i bought was 550cca and IDK if its in my head but the car seems to start up better n run a little smoother. I didnt think the battery had anything to with those topics, could I be wrong or is it something with our cars?

It may start better yes. But the car doesn't run on battery. Once the car starts, the alternator takes over.

Isn't the ecu reset anyway after the battery is disconnected?

^The ECU adjusts to the way you drive. Most people drive their cars normally for the majority of the time its running so that is what the car "remembered" and adjusted accordingly. If your at WOT all the time the car would drive differently. Reseting the ECU clears its memory which allows the car to perform slightly better.
