Check the volage while your cranking it over the battery could be worn out and not giving you full power

Why did you disconnect the battery?

It's odd to me that you lost your remote programming by simply unplugging the battery. Are you using replacement keyfobs?

I have an 06 too & I always disconnect my battery everytime I add on a new performance part and I once didnt plug my battery correct. The windows, radio, navi, locks everything worked but my car wouldnt start. I guess trying to start the car multiple times while not having it plug right drained most of my battery. Got my daily driver to pass it some electricity BOMB! the G was up & runnin.

Hope thats the same problem your having.
Good Luck!

On the first gen sedans all you have to do is turn the car to ACC (don't try to start) for 5sec+ then off for sec+ and it will start. Mine acts up every now and then. This method works 100% of the time on the sedans. Its still annoying that it even has to be done.

So your car started? Problem solved. It was your battery. Let it run so it will charge itself then get it tested to see if it's going bad or not. Goodluck!

My car did not start at all. I had to use another car to jump my car (G35) cause my battery got drained by doing all the cranking.

Right now i am gonna try pushing the car to start it up. If that works then my starter is messed up.

Ok I guess I misinterpreted your post. But check all fuses before buying a starter

Ok..

So i have just read my manual book for my car. So i was right about the anti-theft.

"If the light still remains on and/ or the engine will not start, see an infiniti dealer for infiniti vehicle immobilizer system asap"

My security light is solid red when i turn my key to ACC, i am not sure if this is normal. (if it should stay solid red or blinking red).

i cant get my car tow to the dealership today since its close.. i wish i found out this sooner
Does anyone know more information on dealing with the anti-theft system?

I have tried locking/unlocking doors a couple of times, and turn my key on ACC and leave it for 10minutes. (as i researched this online)

As far as I know the only way to reprogram the transponder is with the dealer tool. You will have to have all keys present for them to program.

The transponder system is separate from the vehicle anti theft system and doesn't use the keyfob. Instead, there is a small transponder chip in the key that is read by a sensor mounted in the ignition cylinder.

I've never heard of a car just losing this programming - keep us updated with your progress in getting this fixed.

Update:

So i just called Infiniti and they said my car is on lock down mode. They told me to lock the door on the driver side manually then try starting my car. That didnt work. Then they told me that it could be my battery could be dead inside my key so it doesnt recognize my key.

Then i called Nissan and i told them the same problems that Infiniti told me. Nissan charge me $69.99 for a diagnose and im like wtf, i thought Nissan diagnose is suppose to be for free.

So right now i just notice that the key has a sensor on it and the key actually uses a bettery. I am gonna try to open the key to replace the battery it needs, but not really sure how to open it.
