What year is your car?

The transponder system is passive, meaning it doesn't have a battery on the key side.

That key does not have a battery. It uses radio signals. The car sends the signal to the key when you stick the key in the ignition and turn it. If the signals match, the car will start.

All the key has is the chip. No battery.

And I think it's time you suck it up and just take it to the dealership already. lol

Update:

Just got my car towed to Nissan dealership.
They already ran a diagnose of my car.

The problem right now is the car could not read the chip on my key.
They replaced the NAT on the antenna and that didnt work and got charged $405 for that, BS !!

Now I gotta leave my car over night at the shop as they continue working on it tomorrow. They need to place another part.

The total outcome right now is $405. When tomorrow come, they gonna put another part which will prolly cost another $100-200. And my total would be up to $500-600.

Why would they expect you to pay for a part that didn't fix the problem??????

This. You shouldn't have to pay for something that didn't fix your problem. Unless you told them to do the work before they diagnosed it which I know you didn't. Go raise some hell. After they fix the problem, of course.

There are two fuse boxes. I would start with the one behind the battery. The panel top slides off and will give you access. I'm assuming you know what a blown fuse looks like. Next try the fuse box inside the car near where your left foot rests while driving. It's a pain to look at but you might as well check out everything before you pay all your money to the stealership! Goodluck

Yes.
They diagnose my car. Then they told me what they are gonna replace.
They told me "It could be something wrong with the NAT so its not picking up my key."
So they told me that they are gonna replace my NAT which cost $405

After that they told me that it didnt work.

When they worked on it today they said my BCM (Body control module) is bad and it will cost $1000. So instead of getting it for $1000 i bought a use one for $140 off a 06 G35 Sedan and they are gonna try to reprogram it tomorrow. (06 G35 Sedan BCM has the same part and model number as my 06 G35 Coupe)

When tomorrow comes they gonna make up some BS saying it didnt work and need a different part then my $140 BCM i bought would be useless and its non-refundable.

They thought it was my NAT problem so they went ahead and changed the NAT and that didnt work. Now they told me it was my BCM problem. I didnt want to get charge so i bought a used NAT which came off a 2006 Sedan. They installed it and reprogrammed the BCM to my car setting which they saved from the old NAT. Then voila it worked !

make sure they reprogram the BCM correctly, if they know what there doing other wise it would never work.

Yes they replaced both parts. But, after changing the BCM we didnt change the NAT back to my old original one, we didnt bother since the car is running and working.

And what happen to your car? were you messing with the positive terminal on the battery? Cause my positive terminal wasnt tighten up so when im driving it keeps popping up.
