Blue smoke is oil, white smoke can be either gas or water vapor. After you've driven for a while do you have water dripping from your exhaust tips? That would indicate blown head gasket. How many miles on your Infiniti and how's it running? (plugs?) Last thought, what kinda shape is your intake filter in? Air filter clogged not allowing correct air/fuel mixture causing over rich condition and unburnt fuel....

Its coming right behind the joining of the exhaust coming from each side of my engine. Nothing is leaking, no water from exhaust tips. The car has 88k and its running very nicely. Just replaced my clutch and flywheel (professionally done), and all six spark plugs changed. just check the air filter... needs to be replaced.

White smoke can be a blown head gasket. Does your oil look milky? Any oil in your antifreeze reservoir?
