Whistle/Hiss at 3k rpm

I've had my MD 5/16th plenum in for about 5 months and ever since I been driving my G I hear a slight whistle at 3k rpms. I only hear it at 3k and not higher or lower than that. I have a 04 5AT with stillen cold air box and z-tube. Is the sound coming from the intake? My car has been running fine with no CEL and idles around 650 so I am not suspecting a leak from the plenum. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes it is prolly your intake. You can hear your intake sucking up that air.

I have a stillen intake with z-tube and it does the same thing

I'm 100 percent stock and I have this exact same sound. I don't think its anything to worry about. I just pretend its a turbo spooling
