Engine managment light???
Engine managment light???
Hi there. Yesterday I was thinking about fitting a HKS induction kit to my G35 and foolishly unplugged the lead that connects to the pipe after the air intake box, The car car began to splutter and choke so I plugged it back in. When I started the car back up the engine management light was on. The car is running fine but the light stays on. Can anybody give me any advise on what I've done and any help on how to get the light off. Kind regards Greg.
Two options.. one is hook it up with a OBII scanner and clear the code. The other is to just drive the car for 15 mins at 50+ then shutdown for 5 mins and restart and drive another 15 mins at 50+. The car should run all of its tests and the CEL should wipe out.
