Okay guys I'm pretty new to the forum but I did some research and I'm a little confused about the revup non revup. I know the 05 6mt has rev up but is the 05 5at revup. And another question I am looking for some test pipes I know the art are the best but there out of my price range. Are the Megan test pipes decent and I saw something about a rasp noise will these put that off. I have a 05 coupe 5at stock except a ztube and k&n panel filter. Thank you guys very much

 

I don't think the AT came with a rev up. The other members might be able to tell you for sure. I have art pipes so not too sure about the other kind of pipes put there. Art pipes r very nice tho

 

Ya I was confused about the revup part. I know ther art are nice if u don't mind me asking how much did u pick them up for

 

Too much lol. I think 5 or 6. I picked them up when they first came out. Got them along with full MD exhaust.

 

Lol yeah that's why im looking for something in the 100-150 range. I'm on a college student budget.

 

Yea let's just say my exhaust set up was expensive. Worth it but expensive. I got a tight budget as well but I figured this is the exhaust I really like and going to keep so I went for it. I bought stuff I liked for a while n then end up buying something else because it ended up bein better. Spend more money in the long run. Just do your research on it.

Rev up motor was only on the 6MT transmissions in 05-06 coupes and sedans and 07 coupes.

yea just get the MD spacer...other then that ztube and an intake and a grounding kit as well beside your exhaust and you should be good to go

 

Okay I'm new so bare with me this might be a stupid question but what is a grounding kit?
