You are hella mad xd. We teased him and he overdid his response.

Besides, you sound like a total hypocrite with your high horse toned posts. And you're right. This is funny ****; cartoon network. But you're the one making it look all dramatic

OK now how many of you bought your g used for under 25,000. Yes i'm pissed because those of you who have $15,000 or under g35's have no respect for an expensive car that was a pioneer car in 2002. I personnaly don't give a **** if you paid full price or used price just respect the car. If you don't like it then sell the goddamn car!
Dude it's just a car. $40,000 isn't that much for a brand new car anyway.

I could be a multi-millionaire and I'd still buy used. Might as well let someone else lose thousands of dollars pulling it off the lot.

Be careful with your generalizations. I paid a little over $15K 2 years ago for my sedan and I treat it better than any car I've owned. It has 91,000 miles on it and she runs and looks new inside and out. This is my 22nd car BTW.

Yay for logical fallacies. ^^^^

No one here is disrespecting the car. Obviously, if we have the car AND visit the forums, we have some form of passion for it. Doesn't mean we're going to pretend it is a "fast" car. Hell, I respect those ghetto lookin' 70's Japanese cars a LOT, and rarely are they in HALFWAY decent condition. Acknowledging a car for what it is is part of respecting it.

Well put. Got a little angry and no I don't consider the $$ value of a car to mean anything. Here's the most important thing you said: Acknowledging a car for what it is is part of respecting it. I have just been getting the vibe that alot of recent/new G owners don't respect their cars. I just think it's time to give noobs a break. As I said above they're excited about owning a G and desperately want to fit in. By the way the most fun to drive car I own is my 1990 Miata bought new in 1989 will have owned it 22 yrs Dec 16. Collectors value maybe $1,000 on a good day.

I was certainly not referring to you or your car. You are one of the good guys who makes helpful posts. It is obvious that you respect and care about your car.

and the air up there on that high horse might be gettin a little thin.....cause anyone with half a brain realizes that cars are NOT investments....they aren't even "depreciating assets" they are depreciating liabilities. And anyone who pays full price for a new ride is IMO completely awful with money.

and guess what....your G is nowhere near that 50 grand you paid for it. so you don't have a $50,000 G.
Let me explain somethng to you...when you have about 15 years of driving left before you're too old to drive (age 80) depreciation is the last thing on your mind. At this point in my life it's about buying all those cars that you always wanted to own before it's too late. In 1970 I owned a Triumph TR6...loved the 240Z really wanted one bad. Enter 350Z...but a little more practical as the Infiniti G35 coupe. One down. Mercedes E Coupe 2 down. Also owned a Cadillac Eldorado...3 down.

Depending on the year the follow:
Total rebuild to 4.2 with stroker kit
Twin Turbos/Coolers/injectors/fuel system
3" Exhaust
Lower Diff Gears
Those 4 done right should keep you out front for a while!
