One thing you will notice for sure is the amount of gas this thing drinks My last car was a 2000 Prelude TypeSH, and was a very fun car to drive. I have no regrets with the g35 as a replacement though (except I miss the MT sometimes, it was more fun.. but the AT is less annoying in stop and go traffic).

As others have said, the g35 is a heavier car, but it has enough power to get it moving pretty fast. Plus it looks amazing, and sounds great!

I use it as my daily driver (through summer and winter in Canada) and have had no issues going from FWD to RWD, though I do not push the car very hard.

Im completely a G guy over 350z's myself but if your mostly only worried about the performance, definitely drive an 07 or newer 350z. Itll be about the same price as an 06 g35 but I find a little extra zip and handling due to the lighter weight and slight horsepower advantage

I came from a base RSX with all bolt ons + reflash to a 05 G35 6MT last December. The difference is night and day IMO. Rear wheel drive makes such a difference, and is a thousand times more fun to drive, AND IT ACTUALLY HAS TORQUE!

I would never be able to go back to the RSX after getting the G. The only thing I really miss is the gas mileage, it was just so much better in the Acura.

Also, I really like G35Driver much better as a community. ClubRSX is FULL of "JDM FTMFW" immature highschool kids.

RWD and more power, more torque (twice as much?) , that is a huge upgrade from RSX. i am sure you will like G35.....feel more like a grown up car.

I recommend you keep your rsx, and save up to get the g35 if that is an option. Although I love my g35, it does sound nice to be able to switch and drive an rsx at times. My friend has an rsx which I take around now and it's more much of an easy feel to drive. Compared to my G35 which I constantly worry about not over revving because of gas mileage and the speed bumps kill me because I'm lowered.

So it's nice to have an rsx for a change and rev the crap out of it and hit vtech without seeing your gas go down much. daily drive rsx, weekend warrior g35.

Used to drive a RSX Type S.
The G35 was a huge upgrade that you can feel!
The only downside I saw from upgrading to a G35 was the extra 700lbs and gas mileage.
If money is an issue such as maintenance, gas, insurance etc then think twice about the G because everything costs more for it!

I would recommend you test drive one first and see the difference for yourself!

I think you will have you mind made after haha!

Another former RSX owner! I had a Type-S with CAI and Hondata. Going to the G35 was a big upgrade. The RWD and torque were the biggest changes for me.

I do miss the gas mileage and revving up to 8600rpm though..but I had to get out of a FWD drive car.
