I have a 06 DG and I'm looking to switch out my bumper with the Nismo front. I really like the look of the carbon inserts. So my question is...do I go painting my OEM grille black (I'd keep the logo chrome though) or do I go with a carbon sport grille like the Gialla or something? The thing is I don't want to put too much carbon fiber on there. I always think that just a little CF goes a long way. Let me know your thoughts.

Not sure who's car this was again, but I had it saved and really like this. So I'm picturing this in DG.



If anybody has pics of what I'm talking about, post em up. I'd like to see what I'm getting into. Or maybe I do the bumper without the carbon inserts. Thanks for the help fellas.

 

Yeah that is a nice whip. Personally, I like the black grill with chrome logo, but I can see the gialla type grill in carbon fiber matching the nismo carbon fiber accents very well. I say do that.

 

I'm biased but the Gialla looks great with a nismo IMO. This particular setup is a CF grill. If I kept going the Nismo vents in CF would be next to match up a little better. I would love to see someone else rock the "full cf vents" up front

 

Smart....^....it's so easy to over do a good thing! I can't make this decision for you but you have three choices, your OE grille painted satin black or go with the Gialla grille like I have and then there's the option of going with IONICS embless grille. Without the Fuji emblem it looks super clean.

Diggin the 2nd G, I'm a huge fan of CF tho. If you used it there and didnt have a CF hood it would be legit. My .02

 

I think the gialla grill flows better with the nismo front. And vice versa, black grille chrome Fuji w/ stock front. Just my $.02
