Yes the dog will fit. My 120lbs Akita fits fine. He's tall so when he sits in the back he ducks his head down a little to see out the front window. only thing that sucks is the coupe is a pain in the *** to clean the inside, and the rear window is even worse to clean.

Have you ever considered just taking out the backseat? It takes about less than 5 minutes once you get good at it and you gain a ton of room. Check out some of the pictures from the look what my dog did link to see what it looks like without the back seat.

I have 2 50pound boxers and one sits on the back and the other stands in the back and front paws on the center arm-rest....But i never take them to the beach in my car because they get so sandy and dirty it would take forever to clean

I have a Golden Retriever puppy that weighs 80 lbs, she rides shotgun with me without issues. I bought a cover specifically for bucket seats and cover my console with a towel to avoid scratches. You could remove the back seat which would resolve an problems you might have or they make covers for those too. We take her to the beach in the back of my wifes Vette so anything is possible....

I use my beater pickup truck to transport all things dirty or stinky. I used to get irritated when my brothers dog would just brush against my car all wet and muddy. But you gotta love those big ole dummys.
