You think the CDC is worthless??

Obviously you have to take into account the specific body composition for each individual, which you would have read if you would have clicked even one link on that site to find out more about the specific role of BMI calculations in diagnosing obesity.

Educate yourself.

Yes I'm new here - but correct me if I'm wrong, this is a CAR site not a fitness site.

gaspasser: keep the business going - don't tell me how to live my life and lose weight.

Seriously folks, this is a luxury car. We're not talking about squeezing into an MR2 or even the 350z. Look at the measurements on the interior .. by the numbers, the G35 has more room in almost all dimensions than the 2005 mustang. FWIW, that's the car I just traded in. Of course in the mustang I felt the room was quite generous. The G is giving me a hug. Not a horrible thing, but the bolsters have the wrong SHAPE for me.

This has nothing to do with my BMI, weight or anything else. It just so happens I have wide hips and am 6'4".

so the question stands, anyone have pix of how this looks after the controls are relocated? Looking at the TSB - I dunno if this will even work on an '05. If not, I'll squash those bolsters soon enough (lol).

At 5'11" and 150-152 pound the car fits me perfectly. The doctors BMI chart has me right at 20.9 too so that's all good as well.
I could certainly see how anyone too much larger would have issues with the comfort as it is designed for someone of smaller to average size. The width in the back and shoulders is even reasonably snug on me. I don't like the right side thigh bolster by the switches as it is firmer than the left side and causes minor discomfort for extended driving. I think it is overstuffed to keep the leg further away from the switches but that just compounds the problem with me. Removing my wallet is a must for comfortable driving too. I haven't tried bending the switches bracket to the right yet but that may help with less pressure on the right leg.

I have been in both the 350z and the G35 and its funny cause i fit better in the 350Z seats than i do the G35. For me im 6,2" maybe 6,3" and i have the same problem just in my shoulders and back though. But i like the G35 so i guess im going to have to put Z seats in or get part of my back chopped off Does anyone know if the z seats would work in the G35? Cause i kinda like my back where it is..............

For me the biggest problem is the damn driver seat belt. I feel like it is riding into my neck and God Forbid I get in an accident it will cut my head right off lol. Seriously though that is my main issue the damn seatbelt going into my neck

^^^^same here, can't adjust the height on the seat belt, feels like some one is holding a sword next to my neck, plus it's hard to reach. Im 5'10" 190, don't like the seats, too stiff, my shoulders can never touch the back of the seat, can't rest my head on the headrest, too far away.... need to get Sparco seats, red,

I prefer the more ... "hugging" seats to the more freemoving ones... in my friend's S350, I move around way too much while he drives... or maybe he's just an idiot and doesnt know how to drive. Who knows.

My only complaint with the seats are that they dont go low enough to the floorboard. I am 6''3 (215 pounds) and I feel as if I am sitting too high. The roof is almost touching my head...I hate it. But its primarily the wifes car (she is 5''2 @ 120) so no biggie for her.

I have 5ft 11in and 280lbs. I think the seat fits me pretty well. You should probably just adjust it to your likings..... Took some tweak time to reach my sweet spot!
