And i see the price difference between the Fiber and Poly, Whats the difference?

Fiber will crack like a b*tch. I personally would never get a fiberglass front bumper especially if your lowered. Poly urethane bends and is more flexible.

What color is your car? That will help in deciding what bumper to choose. Some bumpers just look better with certain colors

(but def spend the extra money for the urethane you wont regret it)

nismo ftw. strafe is also an excellent vendor.

Nismo or inven would be suggested. Both poly versions of these two are great choice & quality fit/product.

I would say it all depends on your Taste or ASK ISEECHRIS... I think he had whored all the bumpers available to man...

Fiberglass
Fiberglass is surrounded by many myths, and if you were to listen to all of them then you would most likely to get yourself a urethane body kit. Then again, for an urethane body kit you will have to spend more.

The most common myths regarding fiberglass kits are that they break easily, don't fit well, and that thicker fiberglass is better, and that overall, urethane is better than fiberglass.

What you have to know is that fiberglass can be made in a number of different ways, which in turn means that not all fiberglass is equal. Agreed, fiberglass can break, but it's more likely that a cheap fiberglass kit will break more easily than a high-quality one. Basically, the same impact that will crack or break your factory bumper or metal body part will also damage your fiberglass parts.

When it comes to fitting, this depends on the team that fits your fiberglass kit. It is true that fiberglass need additional sanding, grinding, cutting, glassing, but if done by a specialist and the right kit is chosen, then this won't be a problem.

The thickness of your fiberglass body kit doesn't mean that it will last longer, again, this depends on the manufacturing process. What you want to do is to see the product's description and check out reviews to see what other people have to say about the same part or kit.
Urethane
When it comes to poly-urethane body kits, these do have a very good reputation, since they have a near-perfect fitment and tend to be more durable than fiberglass.

Basically, urethane is a rubber like material, which makes it easy to flex and bend, without any cracking or breaking. Another thing is that urethane doesn't chip as easy as fiberglass.

Then again, urethane also has some disadvantages that have to be taken into consideration. One of them is the weight, which is important if you plan racing your car. Then again, the weight might be the least inconvenient, since urethane is really difficult to paint, and if this is done incorrectly the paint may peal off in patches or flake. Also, in the face of time, urethane can sag or wrap due to extreme heat, so basically, if you use an urethane body kit don't leave your car in the sun all the time.


ALL IN ALL go POLY if you have the budget...

Nice, clean OB coupe....^....Which ever bumper you choose you need to go with poly, they survive longer than f/g. I like the Nismo bumper, that way you're not buying sides to match the height of the bumper and they look

Will the Inven front match the height of my side skirt ? or it will be a tad lower?

Dam this sucks. I was planning to get poly urethane until this came up. Since i live in houston, we have extreme hot weather condition here and im afraid the poly urethane wont hold up.

I would go with nismo poly if I were you, best fit imo for stock body.

so inven front is lowered then nismo?

It'll be fine, plenty of us dfw g drivers have poly strafe products and hold up great even in Texas heat
