Can't remember who posted the suggestion but it really saved my butt. Someone suggested to lower the windows about 1/8 inch to keep that automatic drop feature from working.

I did this and low and behold got hit with the whole snow freezing rain thing that froze the car solid. But, with the windows down just a bit, it did not leak and I could get in and out of the car without worrying about the windows being frozen in the up position, and not dropping down.

Actually, I leave them like this most of the time now. Its gotta be saving the heck outa those window motors.
