well there is no link, but in my experience you get what you pay for, and if you buy generic crap off ebay, you end up with generic crap on your car.

all those components look so thin and flimsy i bet you will get hella vibration and noise from that thing. i'd be willing to bet the purchase price that it ends up in the trash within a week =)

go for a z-tube with k&n, it's tried and true and works like a charm, and you won't get measurably better performance with anything else.

does a Z-Tube actually flow better or is it just the sound since the couple of resonator's are not there?

Do it! It's inexpensive, it won't hurt to check it out.

The z-tube is DYNO PROVEN to yield 5-7 rwhp and 5-7 lb-ft of torque. Seach for "Central FL Dyno Day" and you'll see dyno proof.

hmm. dyno proven it may be, but I'd like the meet the guy who can detect an additional 5hp in a car just from driving it.

I'm going to install the Z tube and POP charger for the sound and increased throttle response...those are noticeable.

BTW, that ebay intake looks like a$$

I wouldnt trust anything off of ebay. Especially something that is ridiculously cheaper than what its supposed to be.

Well Im one of the suckers that fell for the ebay filter setup. The parts are now in my garage, not on my car. The filter came unglued fron the filter housing. I guess the heat got to it and it just fell a part.

Now there's the definitive answer.
Don't waste your money on it.

Injen is very popular, so are Nisnmo, K&N Typhoon, Pop Charger and Z-tube, or even just a K&N panel filter.
You'll spend more money on one of these, but glean more results and be a lot happier.
G/luck

I might have a pop charger & z tube up for sale soon if I can't learn how to keep my foot out of it. {my right foot is killing my gas milage, but @ 4 to 6000 rpm, it just feels & sounds sooooo good.}

According to his other posts in other threads that he's started about buying an intake, he wants the loudest one, preferrably in chrome. HP does not sound like a concern.
