Why would someone buy a knock off when we have lots of vendors here with lots of good exhaust and some good prices?? Plus members are always selling used ones that could be a good pick up as well

 

I bought one. I read hundreds of posts about them and came to the conclusion that most people like them. Biggest complaint being the tips rust. That can be fixed by buying good tips and having your shop weld them on. A lot of people actually prefer the knockoff sound over the real hks. I will be installing mine on Friday along with a 5/16 spacer and berks hfc. I also read that getting a x pipe will cut the drone out so that might be in my future as well. I say, for the price, it's worth it bc even if you absolutely hate it, you didn't lose much money at all and you can still sell it to someone else. Goodluck

 

the first one is by Topspeed, a pretty reputable vendor on this site. A bunch of ppl I know bought it and it sounds great

The knock-offs tend to not fit as well....usually can be fixed by any exhaust shop, but just be aware that's going to be a good $50-100 on top of whatever the exhaust itself costs. Not the biggest deal in the world as long as you're not expecting perfection straight out of the box.

I got mine off ebay....you do get what you pay for.
however I love the sound of mine, drone's a lot yes but I dig that sound...fitment was good up until the rear cans but a trip to home depot and some shifty work and it fits perfectly.

 

One of my friends bought an ebay exhuast, it sounded like a POS lawnmower and he was embarrased to drive his car, recently picked up an authentic invidia and loves it again. You get what you pay for.
