Because the maximas are newer and have different headlights? I don't know. Why do some cars still not use Projectors?

Do you hate rice?

Thnxs finally a reply that doesn't sound like I'm in a honda forum. Thats what I was researching, was just wondering why a maxima which is in a lower line has a nicer cutoff then infiniti which i would think would have a nicer setup since its the luxury line. Its ok i see this in a lot of forums ever heard of the forum TEAM NABR?

So our cutoff isn't as sharp and you don't get as many different "colors" that appear. How does that make them "suck"?

Maximas generation with the better cutoff hids came out after the g35s. It is more than likely that nissan's manufacturing wasn't ready to put them in the g35's when they were being produced but they were ready in time for maximas. If infiniti didn't switch to the g37 I'm sure the next generation or update for g35's would have had improved cutoffs.

Also remember it isn't necessarily the same design team doing the two cars. Maxima designers might have made the headlights a priority to try to make it seem more luxurious or to appeal to those who are easily impressed by them. G35 designers may have decided to go with a different design to put money elsewhere.

Thats what i thought at first until i saw the g37s (which still has the same cutoff as the g35) HIDs just mind boggles me on how nissan/infiniti builds their cars. I'm the kind of guy that pays attention to those kind of details in a luxury line.

It is impossible that the purple/blue cutoff means it's a crappier product. 100% IMPOSSIBLE to believe. I honestly don't know, but that's what it sounds like.

The cutoff/flicker is simply appearance. Having a purple flicker in your headlight doesn't make the road brighter then a car without a purple flicker.

Our HID's work perfectly fine.. the output is even and decently wide.
