I have a 2003 g35 coupe in black. I've been looking for this specific spoiler

they say its just for 2006/2007....does anyone know why it won't work with 2003??

It will work for the 03-05 models. That was simply the factory spoiler Infiniti put on/changed for the 06-07 coupes. The factory spoiler optioned for the 03-05 was like an iron board, big, bulky, didn't really flow. Some people like them - others don't.
Long story short, it will work. Buy it, drill the holes, install it, come back with pics.
