Thumbs up New to the G game

Recently got out of the Honda scene and bought a 2003 Laser red G35 coupe.
Bought the car with Magnaflow Exhaust and a Pop charger intake.
I added 20" axis matrix staggered wheels and my eibach sportline springs are getting put on saturday.

Any suggestions on changes or mods, or normal things people usually do to laser red. thanks

Welcome to the forums. I also came from a long line of Hondas and landed in a 2004 LR coupe. Quite a change, no?

I will tell you that the forum has tons of information. You should check out all of the stickied information and threads in each section before asking questions. Why? 2 reasons. Your question has likely already been asked is the first. The second is that the locals here are nonplussed when someone doesn't search first. When I say nonplussed, I really mean more cranky... heh. Anywho- cheers!

I am enjoying it still too. I have a little of the poor mpg blues, but I knew what I was getting myself into beforehand. There is a thread stickied at the top of this section titled "What mods should I buy for my coupe" too. That should be helpful for you!

Welcome.

There's SOOO much available to us now, theres an infinite amount of things you can do to your car.

From the pics, the top things I see that can be done:
spacers w/ the drop.
roll fenders
06+ projectors

and beginner performance mods:
MD plenum spacer
Sean's grounding kit, if AT

Just start reading around. You'll find your style and taste with what other people have done. ie: body kits, boost, leds, etc.

Nice ride! A black and red scheme might look nice, IMO. Black grille, roof, etc.

How much of a spacer should I use? I already thought about 06+ projectors but didnt know they fit. But since now I know, how much do they usually run for used?

Welcome to DRIVER, very nice LR coupe! Having read the above posts there's some good opinions and some not so good. The '06 Projectors are one of the best mods you can make to your '04 coupe, the difference in the headlights is amazing....you'll love it! They are a plug and play except for swapping the ballasts. Cost is around $400 new in box. If you don't already have the intake spacer (motordyne) that and HFCs (highflow cats) are the two most valuable mods you can make for easy performance. "Good Luck" and enjoy your coupe!
Gary

depends on what your current specs are and how much camber you're willing to run. some people don't like the flush look. it's all preference. I'd push them out to somewhere around +13 with those tire.sizes. there's so much to say about stance, you just need to search on what you like.

One word. It starts with nis and ends with mo. Dunno why but red and Nismo just... Work together, wheels look perfect I wanna say some spacers. Though I find myself looking at spacers and buying camber arms and coilovers. Just my opinion lol
