G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

Are you sure he's going to do a straight up swap? The KBB value on a 2000 T in good shape is over $37K. Seems fishy to me, but if he's legit, trade the cars, sell the NSX, and buy a 2011 G.
You should post some pictures of the NSX here so people can get a better idea of what kind of condition it is in. NSX's are very expensive cars, and it's not even THAT old of an NSX either. Those things, in decent condition, book for a crapload of money... almost twice as much as a G35 in the same condition would go for.
There's got to be something majorly wrong with this car aside from just cosmetics if it really only doe have 60K miles on it and the owner wants to trade it straight up for a 2005 G35. If the car is mechanically sound, you could dump 3-5K into it to make it really mint and you'd be riding around in a car that most people would pay $30-40K for.
If you do consider getting this NSX, you should definitely have a real mechanic look at it and do a serious background check on the car to make sure it doesn't have a salvage title or some significant accident history.

if it is mainly cosmetic then do it its a good trade. If you have to start pouring $$$$ into the engine suspension and minor things through out the place. Its better you hold your G and drive worry free everyday
G35s are pretty easy to find in a wide range of conditions for decent money, can't say the same about NSXs, not so many of them around and attainable.
maybe this will help....

****...you can't find an NSX down here for less than $40k, and that's with higher mileage. Definetly sounds fishy....unless that G is absolutley amazing.
