I have a trade opportunity 05 g35 6mt for 00 nsx-t

I have the opportunity to trade my 05 G35 6MT for a 2000 Acura NSX-T with 6speed manual. All service uptodate on both cars. NSX has 60K miles, the G has 52K miles. Would you make the trade? NSX is in rougher shape in terms of body and interior and could use about 3-5 grand of work to make factory fresh again. My G is pristine in terms of exterior and interior.

for years I tried to buy NSX as there are few of them around I found them pricey...but now that I have my G35 6MT it would take much thought to make a deal like that happen....I luv my G

I really love the NSX, but couldn't make the decision without seeing it in person or lots of pics etc.

$3-5 grand worth of work? Is the body actually damaged? That sounds like a lot of money to pour in. If it is in good shape, I would think about it. According to your description, it sounds like it needs a lot of work.

Where the pics?? If it's good I would trade...they are awesome cars and getting rare to find. But that being said why would someone want to trade it? Is it in bad shape? Is there something else wrong with it? Might want to take it to a mechanic or Honda dealer and have them check it out before you get stuck with a rare car that's hard to find parts for and would be more expensive to fix up then the g

The NSX is a great car but if it's in bad shape it could definitely become a "Money Pit!" It would be great if you could buy it just to restore and didn't need it as a DD. Bodywork is easy, the NSX engine is a PIA to work on for major repairs.

The NSX is my favorite car. Not just because it looks and performs nice, but because I've had one. I sold it when I moved up north, because, well I moved up to the snow area. I absolutely love my G, but it's second to my NSX.

If 3K is all it would take to get that NSX in tip top shape, I'd jump on it, but that's just my opinion. As long as there's no major problems or wrecks, and just needs a little TLC, that's a great car!

Well, I think I'd do it. And then buy a beater; like $1200 car for daily. Doing an NSX daily just seems silly... Although, it'd be super hard to resist taking it out every day >.<
