Dear G35drivers,

I have a 04 G35 coupe MT. I took my car in two times already for the dealer to fix the airbag sensor recall issue. The light came on again today for the third time.

Does anyone know the Lemon Law well enough to explain if I could get something out of the dealership for not being able to fix this?

Thanks, the lemon law applies to new cars that are under warranty. In my case, the car is used and I no longer have warranty, however, this is part of a factory recall.

I took it to the dealership today and they wanted to charge me $160 for "diagnosis". I told them no way...

 

Brought my car in today to the dealer to fix the recall...I got a call about an hour ago that they will not release my car until they get the part(2 weeks)...all good...safety over not driving it. I've been out of warranty for over a year now...

At least I don't have to pay anything either(service or rental). Woot!
