My battery light and brake light came on when it started raining so i limped it back home thank god. I went and bought a new alternator and replaced it now itll charge sometimes and sometimes it wont. But when it does charge the battery light is still on but sometimes it turns off. I have removed the new alternator and got it checked and it passed all 3 test at oriellys have check all the fuse on the driver side kick panel and the fuses under the hood. The Fusible link is still good what els should i look for?

Check your battery cables, make sure they are tight and in good condition? Is your drivebelt in good condition? If it's dried/worn out and got wet it may be slipping. That's the first two things I'd check....Gary

If you have a multi meter just start tracing the alt wire. Then check the connection make sure theres no corrosion. Then if everything is good check for resistance in the wires.

Have your battery tested so that you can remove that from the troubleshooting process.
A faulty battery can make strange things happen.

Agreed. People come into the dealership with crazy things happening to their car electrical wise and then it turns out to be the battery. I would have it checked!
