She is 11 and will carry this until she has kids (50+ years from now)..
It is one of those moments that will stick. I try to use it as leverage, but she tells me to get over it..lol Im not sure where her smart *** attitude came from.....surely wasnt from me.
She keeps me on my toes so I cant complain.

So the day I brought my G35 home I was giving it another once over, just taking it all in and enjoying how sweet my new ride looked - and I thought well, let's get rid of that nasty front license plate.

So I grab my handy screw driver and pop it off, only to find about a 3-inch gash smack dab in the middle of my front bumper. I instantly felt like a retard for not catching it - but honestly, removing the license plate and checking never once crossed my mind when I was buying it. So I guess I'll live with that license plate. lol...

Had my wifes old mercedes wheels stacked up in the garage and as i was thinking to myself, i better be careful stepping over these because they are right infront of my bumper, my foot tapped one and it fell into my freshly painted bumper (curbed side of the wheel too) and scratched it. Luckly it completely buffed out.

Cracked a sideskirt pulling into my garage. The wood i use to pull into it slipped out and stood up on its end and the skirt sat right on it. Got it repaired and painted.

At the dealership because the bottomed out in my front bumper several times after i told them to be careful. They repainted it at their cost. As I was backing up from picking the car up, they had parked it on such a steep hill I had a hard time seeing directly behind me. Backed right into a dealership car. No damage to it, but scratched my rear bumper. Got it repainted.

Broke PVC fitting going into valve cover installing my headers. Bought new one.

While installing my fender, wife came and asked me a question just as I was getting ready to install the wheel which i just had all of them freshly powdercoated in a new color. I know better than to walk away and trust that my wheel will stay balanced and standing, but i had a brain fart this time. As i was walking away, i heard that god awful sound of the wheel falling over onto its face. Got it re powdercoated

Since I was moving from NC to MS, put my car on the trailer, didnt strap the rear wheels down because i figured the fronts were so snug and there was enough weight to keep it steady, the car shifted to the left about an inch and chaffed the wheel on the trailer. Good excuse to change colors and re powdercoated all wheels.

That same trip, i wrapped the whole front of the car, hood, bumper, a-pillers, etc in that carpet plastic wrap from home depot to protect the paint. When i peeled it off when i got to MS, it lifted the paint on my grill, pulled clear coat off my head lights, and pulled the lenses off my clear corners. LOL...got it all fixed. My car is flawless as we speak after all the crap i have been through.

There was a brick in the middle of the road, it was raining and on a curve so I couldn't swerve around it. Felt a nice "thunk" under the seat. Got home to see that I had clobbered the Tunnel Stay underneath. http://twitpic.com/6fi87v

Quote: Then I came home from work one day to find my daughter and her friend washing my car with a scotch brite pad. Her intent was good, but she missed on the delivery a bit.
LOL, I can relate. My daughter was asking this weekend if she and her friend can wash my car. Good intent, but she's only 7 and I need the WHOLE car washed, not just the sides...

Backed into a pole in a very dark, tight, parking lot. No visible damage at all... Was going < 1mph probably =P

Made a big mistake a couple weeks ago... I was in a parking lot with pretty nasty speed bumps.. There were a ton of people around and cars behind me so I was feeling a little rushed to get through them (people were honking already lol)... Went over one of the bumps a little too fast and took a small chunk out of my side skirt. ><.

They can't be seen in this photo, but there are four aluminum wheels stacked on the two shelves in the photo. I'd confiscated the wheels from my rental property when a tenant disappeared without notice. I figured when the price of aluminum got high enough, I'd load them up and drive them down to the scrap yard. I thought they might be worth $20 or so.

One day I was walking out of Lowe's when I noticed something odd about my car from halfway across the parking lot. Getting closer, I found a perfect circle dent in the hood, a dent in the passenger side fender, and multiple cracks inside the headlight housing. WTF?

When I got home and opened the garage door I saw what had happened. The weight of the wheels on the shelf caused it to pull out just enough that two of the wheels dropped three feet onto the hood of my car.

My $20 wheels cost me nearly $2000 in damages. At least I was able to include repainting the front and rear bumper, and justify upgrading the headlights on my '04 to projectors. I was able to find an O.E.M. hood for sale here on g35driver for a little less than $300, shipping included. Today the car looks better than it was when I bought it, thanks to no paint chips and parking lot scratches on the bumper covers.

I hope someone out there can learn from my experience.

Smacked two huge chunks of tractor trailer tire debris the same day I was driving home my freshly painted nismo front and sides. Completely f-ed my clear coat. First time I ever hit tire debris like that too...

Ripped the entire top half of my clock shroud off when trying to remove it for my dd install. Still cracked to this day....

One rear lug nut decided to seize to the stud and so now I have a permanently mounted wheel. When trying to remove the nut it complexly stripped the pressed in stud and now won't come off.

Installed my new motordyne exhaust and a week later I bottomed out on a raised sewer cap that came out of nowhere. Ripped a nice hole into rear of the muffler section. Damn new construction! Muffler has since been replaced with new MD muffler..

And the list goes on...

LOL who looks at the middle of the hood, trunk and the roof when you are driving by? It could be like a matte finished racing stripe that expands across the roof.
