GPS install question
GPS install question
Just a quick question about the OEM center cubby above the AC controls in a G35 manual transmission coupe. I read through the thread about installing an iPod so I have a pretty good Idea how to take apart the center console and pull the center dash out. I plan on mounting the GPS here but havent decided how to power it yet. Either:
1) Running the power cable down past the shifter to the ac power supply in the center console under the armrest and just plugging it in there.
2) Hardwire it into the cigarette lighter in the center dash under the radio.
Which way would be better to wire it?
And also in regards to the cubby above the AC controls, is that removable?
