Most comfortable Coilovers that can 'slam' your car with?

Hey guys,

I've gotten sick and tired wtih my JIC coilovers from their too stiff ride. I finally came to the conclusion I will never take my car to the road race track like I always dreamed.

I am growing old and now appreciate a smoother ride over taking turns with my car.

What is a good coilover to use that has really good spring rates that will ride like on air on the highway with some bumps?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Anything less expensive? LOL

I dont really need adjustment (to the siffness) to them. I just want something with nice spring rates and that can get low.. lol Basically for looks.

You want all of that, for less than $1200? With that $1200 and those coils, you'll get so much more x_x

Ah ok, I guess I misread your first post. It looks like you just want to get low on a soft ride. I've never looked into coilovers with a softer ride so I don't have many suggestions. I have a friend that has Tein CS and he likes the ride. Depending on how low you want to get though those may not get you low enough. $1200 for the coilovers that I suggested is really cheap though.

Yea.... I am looking for a comfortable ride, performance isnt an issue for me.

I will look into those, but those spring rates still seem kind of high for what I am looking for.

Yea, Tein CS' may not get me low enough.

This is how low I want my car now, basically to match my JICs.

Stance LX+, look in my album, that's at the absolute highest setting, and it's still on the ground

I love my function/form type twos. It's pretty slammed but feels smooth as butter. Currently set to around 8 stiffness all around and the only roughness problem I had was when the shocks pop the car up after a dip in the road. The suspension is still settling in and it really isn't that big of a deal. Had hypermax's before but the stiffness mixed with construction blew the front left.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
I would have recommended the Tanabe Pro5s but they don't go super low. Most comfortable coils I have ridden on by a long shot. For slammage and comfort I'd recommend the Stance LX as mentioned above for an affordable alternative.

Bc racing. They get you pretty low and I think they're fairly comfortable for coils..

Stance is the best option huh?

Hmmm.... so how are the Tein CSs compared to them on height wise?

I really don't care for adjustability for stifffness.

What is slammed in your book??? Some people think slammed is not even tucking tires, others think that slammed is less than 1/4" off the ground - big difference.

And no coils are going to ride like air suspension
