Engine squeaking noise after oil change (HELP!)
Just did an oil change and I am now hearing a squeaking/churping noise from the engine lower area when I accelerate.
What could this be? (details below).
Any quick responses will be appreciated as this is kinda freaky..
---Details---
- Bought G35 6MT 2005 at 110k km.
- Seller told me the oil change needs to be done around 112k km.
- I did the oil change today at 113k km.
- Used Quaker State 5W30 100% Synthetic with FRAM filter.
- Oil drained was only about 2L !!
- Oil added to car was 4.9 L (spec calls for 4.7L with filter change).
(Note: There was a sticker on the car from jiffy lube that said next oil change at 107k. Seller told me that he had done the oil change himself using amsoil filter and amsoil oil.. and oil change was not due until 112k or a bit higher).
I am now hearing a churping/squeaking noise from the engine area as I accelerate from 1st to 2nd gear.. or generally during acceleration.
I am VERY concerned and wondering if anyone else has faced similar problem. I have searched around the forum and read about 'clanking' noise or noises related to serpentine belt. I am sure its not the serpentine belt and the noises are not similar to what I read.
Can anyone help?

The noise seems to have gone away after driving around the block a few times. I'm still wondering what could have caused it though.
EDIT: Actually seems like the noise is still there but only when the engine has just been started after a long time. It seems to go away after a few minutes of driving.
