I already searched, still confused. My driver's side window does not work. Do I need a new motor or regulator or both? TID

 

When my passenger side window went out I could tell it wasnt the motor because I could hear the motor still working. The regulator is cable pulley system that can easily get bound / tangled. My window wasnt going up straight.

Its not a terribly difficult job to do on your own. Door panel is easily removed.
